Actress, Writer, Model and Filmmaker Najia Khaan was born in Afghanistan's northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif. The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan forced her Family to flee eventually settling in England.
Following a modelling career Najia became an actress performing in Afghanistan, Bollywood and British Films.
She also found time to train as a Pilot, learn to ride a motorbike and free dive with sharks.
In 2016 Najia returned to Afghanistan to direct her debut documentary "FINDING SORAYA'
