Georgeta-Luisa Rochian
Luisa’s experience with humanitarian aid started at a very young age due to her contact with the children from the orphanage her mother used to work as a nurse. Later, she started organizing fundraising events to support abandoned young mothers from St Ana Maternal. Center. For More than 12 years, she activated as Executive President for The Cultural Humanitarian Foundation SO.SI.SE.SA., in Romania. Through the numerous national campaigns, she offered first aid and education support for over 5000 orphan children, and disadvantaged families from Romania, but not limited to, as she extended the campaigns for children from Ukraine whenever it was possible. Becoming a mother at a very young age she understood that children are people under construction, and besides her businesses she always dedicated time as a volunteer to assure that children, victims of domestic abuse, and refugees from war zones receive care, and guidance. She guides by the quote “Some men see things as they are and say why, I dream things that never were and say, why not” George Bernard Shaw. She strongly believes that nothing is impossible because where is will and determination people always succeed. For her, charity is the ultimate desiderate of humanity, and she considers that if we lose kindness, nothing else matters. As a charity event organizer, she had the opportunity to fundraise for different charities, supporting causes such as, children with Thalassemia and Hemophilia, Down Syndrome, and disabilities.
